Cobo Introduces Industry's First Babylon Staking API in MPC Wallets

We are thrilled to announce that Cobo has integrated the Bitcoin native staking infrastructure, Babylon, into our Multi-Party Computation (MPC) Wallets. This integration introduces the industry's first Babylon-based Bitcoin staking API, marking an unprecedented milestone in seamless and efficient staking on the Bitcoin network.

The Babylon protocol allows users to stake their Bitcoin and earn rewards. With Cobo’s Babylon staking API, users can effortlessly connect to Babylon’s Bitcoin staking protocol. Notably, Bitcoin restaking service providers and asset management platforms can now integrate with Babylon in just under 30 minutes. Cobo’s API offers a comprehensive suite of features including Babylon staking transaction construction, transaction pre-signing, Replace-by-Fee (RBF), and staking transaction queries.

Looking ahead, Cobo will launch a web portal for one-stop staking services. This service will allow users to perform staking and unstaking operations directly through the web interface, as well as offer custody for staking rewards, delivering a more convenient and streamlined Babylon staking experience.
