The world’s first MPC-powered wallet purpose-built for AI agents introduces an executable human-agent authorization protocol and a modular skill framework, enabling reliable, autonomous execution within user-defined boundaries.

Singapore, April 20, 2026 — Cobo, a global leader in digital asset custody and wallet infrastructure, today announced the launch of Cobo Agentic Wallet (CAW), a next-generation wallet purpose-built for AI agents. CAW enables agents to autonomously execute on-chain operations while remaining fully governed by user-defined controls.

As AI agents begin to interact with real capital, the central challenge no longer lies in whether they can execute transactions, but how to ensure that increased autonomy does not come at the cost of user control and certainty. CAW is designed to address this fundamental tension.

CAW introduces three industry-first innovations:

The world’s first MPC-based non-custodial wallet for AI agents.

Most existing agentic wallets rely on Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), API keys, or delegated EOAs, which ultimately depend on software-level assurances. If an agent is compromised, a Large Language Model (LLM) is manipulated via prompt injection, or credentials are stolen, funds are immediately at risk.

CAW is built on MPC (Multi-Party Computation), which encrypts and shards the signature private key; the signing of transactions is jointly participated in by the user, the Agent, and Cobo’s infrastructure.  A compromised agent, a hallucinating LLM, or leaked credentials cannot, on their own, generate a valid signature. This represents a cryptographically-enforced mathematical guarantee, versus a mere security best practice.

The world’s first Pact protocol for human-agent authorization, elevating permissions into programmable, controlled autonomy.

In CAW, every task begins with a Pact. A Pact not only defines what an agent is allowed to do, but also specifies execution boundaries and termination conditions. Unlike static policy systems, Pacts are dynamically generated per task, enforced natively at the infrastructure level, and expire upon completion. This transforms agents from constrained tools into autonomous executors operating within clearly defined limits, enabling a new paradigm: agents that can act independently without compromising control.

The world’s first Recipe-driven skill layer for AI agents.

Recipes function as modular “playbooks” for Agent wallet scenarios,  equipping agents with the professional capability to reliably execute specific classes of on-chain tasks. At launch, CAW introduces a comprehensive Recipe library covering high-frequency scenarios such as Aave V3 lending, Uniswap V3 and Jupiter swaps, DCA and grid strategies, Polymarket prediction markets, x402 and Stripe micropayments, Discord tipping bots, and multi-approval corporate payrolls.

Agents equipped with recipes will no longer hallucinate contract addresses, fabricate ABI parameters, or resort to guesswork for Gas fees. Instead, they execute along verified, predefined pathways. This shifts the agent from being merely capable of executing, to being capable of executing correctly every time.

The combination of Pact’s boundary enforcement with Recipe’s specialized skill sets makes delegating on-chain operations to AI Agents—for the first time—truly viable, reliable, and engaging.

“Most agentic wallets simply hand over wallet capabilities to agents and hope for the best. We give agents a Pact,” said Dr. Changhao Jiang, Co-founder and CTO of Cobo. “A Pact defines what an agent can do, where it must stop, and when execution ends—and it is enforced at the infrastructure level. Not through trust, and not through assumption. You wouldn’t hand your mnemonic phrase to a stranger, and there is no reason to hand it to a large language model.”

CAW is designed for ease of use. Developers can integrate CAW capabilities into agents with a single command, while users complete a one-time pairing process via the Cobo mobile app. Each task initiated by an agent begins with a Pact that users can approve, reject, or modify directly from their device.

The product natively integrates with leading AI frameworks including LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude MCP, Agno, and CrewAI, and supports over 80 major blockchains such as Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana, along with more than 3,000 tokens.

CAW offers two operational modes under a unified API:

  • MPC Mode (available today), designed for high-value or high-risk operations. Transactions cannot be signed without user co-signature, and all approvals, rejections, and actions are recorded in tamper-proof audit logs searchable across multiple dimensions including policy, time, and agent identity. Users can instantly revoke all active Pacts with a single tap in the mobile app.

  • Custodial Mode (coming soon), optimized for high-frequency, low-latency scenarios such as micropayments, DCA strategies, and automated tipping.

“The first generation of AI agents learned how to think. The next generation must now learn how to act-on-chain, with real capital, and within boundaries humans can trust,” added Dr. Jiang. “That is the significance of Pact, and the reason we built CAW.”
