Cobo Partners with Cyberport OPC Hub to Power Web4.0 Startups with Digital Asset Infrastructure
July 16, 2026
HONG KONG, July 13, 2026 – The inaugural Web4.0 and Agent Innovation Summit, alongside the official launch ceremony of the Cyberport OPC Hub, successfully concluded today. At the summit, Cobo, a premier digital asset custody and wallet technology provider, was officially named a strategic partner of the Cyberport OPC Hub. Cobo joins global tech leaders including Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services, BytePlus, Dell Technologies, Lenovo, and NVIDIA in supporting the hub’s cohort of onboarding entrepreneurs.
The Cyberport OPC Hub is Hong Kong’s first innovation and entrepreneurship hub dedicated exclusively to One-Person Companies (OPCs). Built around three core pillars—Computing Power, Tokens, and AI Agents—the hub provides a comprehensive, one-stop ecosystem for AI-driven entrepreneurs and lean teams, accelerating the development and deployment of next-generation AI agent applications.
Through this partnership, Cobo will provide critical blockchain infrastructure to entrepreneurs within the OPC Hub ecosystem. This allows developers to seamlessly integrate digital asset capabilities into AI agents and next-generation web applications, lowering the barrier to entry so startup teams can focus entirely on product innovation and growth. AI agent applications that combine blockchain with financial infrastructure are a key focus area explicitly encouraged by the OPC Hub.
As AI agents transition from simple information processing to autonomous execution, they are gaining the ability to hold assets, initiate transactions, and settle payments independently. As a result, secure digital asset infrastructure is becoming a cornerstone of the AI-native economy. To support this shift, Cobo’s product suite covers everything from Agentic Wallets and Cobo Payments (stablecoin rails) to Settlement Networks. This allows developers to quickly build applications with native, on-chain payment capabilities that extend to stablecoin settlement, cross-border treasury management, and institutional clearing—offering a secure, efficient, and scalable financial foundation for global AI enterprises.
“AI agents are ushering in the next era of software development, where autonomous value exchange requires a secure and reliable digital asset infrastructure,” said Lily Z. King, Chief Operating Officer of Cobo. “We are thrilled to partner with the Cyberport OPC Hub. We look forward to working with Cyberport and our ecosystem partners to lower the barrier to entry, accelerate product innovation, and help establish Hong Kong as a premier launchpad for AI agent applications.”
Dr. Rocky Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Cyberport, stated at the summit: “Cyberport will continue to serve as the core hub for Web4.0 development, connecting talent, technology, capital, and industry resources. By driving the deployment of innovative AI agent applications and startups, we aim to establish Hong Kong as a leading global hub for Web4.0 innovation and entrepreneurship.”
Web4.0 represents the convergence of Agentic AI and Web3.0—essentially an “agentic, programmable internet” featuring autonomous execution, intelligent collaboration, and programmable value exchange. Cobo looks forward to working with Cyberport and its partners to build a world-class global Web4.0 hub.
